Hot Plate with Magnetic Stirrer
A Hot Plate with Magnetic Stirrer is a tabletop instrument used to quickly spin or mix a solution with the help of a generated magnetic field. The first Magnetic Stirrer was invented by Richard Stringham of Utah in 1917. Uses
The Mini Shaker is generally used in Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry and Biology Laboratories to mix liquids. The Mini shaker is suitable for shaking tasks with all small vessels and microtiter plates.
Two - Way Mixing Modes
DAN Logitech’s Mini Shaker is used for mixing the solutions in two different ways.
- Normal Mixing (Orbital) - This is done for mixing the solutions with attachments mounted on the shaker. Mixing Speeds are limited to 1500 for safety, however one can choose to override.
- Vortex Mixing - This function mixes the liquids in a single time with high speed. Within a couple of seconds, the liquids are mixed up. The mixing speed is 3000 RPM.

- Take off the protective cap from metal probe

The tester will start testing automatically. After about 1 minute the test is over. Indication light will be on for about 10 seconds. The displayed number is locked, which is the value of pH.
- After each test, take out the tester, wipe the metal probe clean with towel or tissue paper. Display will be unlocked, and show “7.00". It is ready for a newtest.
